Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger for Drying Ovens in Textile Industry


      The system using five units like the one presented in the photograph was installed on a textile-drying oven in a cloth factory from Brasov – ROMANIA.

 

  

 

     The system has the following features:

        • Heat recovered: 189,000 w.
        • Hot exhausts inlet temperature: 180 °C.
        • Preheated fresh air temperature outlet: 117 °C.
        • Number of heat pipes: 160 pieces (for five units).
        • Heat pipes made of aluminum integrated finned tubes.
        • Working fluid: acetone.
        • Overall dimensions: 1,500 x 750 x 130 mm (for one unit).

      TRANSTERM® offers this system as a heat recovery tool applicable for any kind of gaseous heat sources having the temperatures in the range of 50 … 300 °C.
      The system can be designed into a variety of shapes and sizes to meet specific heat source requirements, and to fit the customers’ applications.
