Heat Recovery System for a Glass Smelter

      The recovery system provides hot water for central heating and, at the same time, preheats feeding water for a process .
The system has been operating since October 2000.

     Main features of the system:

• Inlet hot flue gases temperature: 170 °C.
• Outlet hot flue gases temperature: 100 °C.
• Inlet water temperature: min. 15 °C.
• Outlet water temperature: 85 °C.
• Heat recovered: 45,000 w.
• Total number of heat pipes: 199 pieces.
• Material of the heat pipes: carbon steel pipe ø 28 x 2,5 mm.
