Gas-Gas-Water Heat Pipe Heat Recovery System


      The unit has been working since 1998 for a Romanian wood industry factory and is designed to preheat the feeding water for an electrical steam generator during the summer and to preheat air for comfort during the winter.

 

  

 

     Main features:

        • Hot exhausts inlet temperature: 160 °C
        • Hot exhausts outlet temperature: 72 °C
        • Cool air inlet temperature: 20 °C
        • Heated air outlet temperature: 56 °C
        • Heat recovered: 200,300 w
        • Heat pipes made of copper tubes having plain fins; working fluid: acetone.

      TRANSTERM® offers this system as a heat recovery tool applicable for any kind of gaseous heat sources having the temperatures in the range of 150 °C … 300 °C.The system can be designed into a variety of shapes and sizes to meet specific heat source requirements, and to fit the customers’ applications.
