ECONOTERM® for a 10 t/h Steam Boiler

      The ECONOTERM® unit presented in the photograph is designed to preheat the feeding water for a 10 t/h steam boiler installed in a Romanian refinery. The system has been operating since 1997.

     This unit is installed directly on the chimney, flue gases having a radially inlet and an axially exit. This design has the advantage of requiring less space for installing.

     The main features are:

• Inlet hot flue gases temperature: 200 °C.
• Outlet hot flue gases temperature: 120 °C.
• Inlet water temperature: min. 15 °C.
• Outlet water temperature: 95 °C.
• Heat recovered: 280,000 w.
• Total number of heat pipes: 680 pieces.
• Material of the heat pipes: carbon steel pipe ø 28 x 2,5 mm.
• Total length of the heat pipe: 1,800 mm.

• Outside diameter: 1,700 mm
• Height: 2,000 mm
• Inlet flue gases diameter: 800 mm
